As of July 1, 2012, the following rules and regulations will be enforced on the method of payment for all restricted items sold:

Payment for all restricted regulated metals will continue to be made by check, issued to the seller of the metal and payable to the seller.
• All checks issued for restricted regulated metals will be mailed directly to the street address of the seller, A check may not be mailed to a post office box.
• Each check will be mailed within 3 days of the purchase transaction.
• You may receive a check at the time of the purchase transaction if the seller is:

• An organization, corporation, or association registered with the state as ”charilable, philanthropic, religious, fraternal, civic, patriotic, social, or school-sponsored organization or association, or any nonprofit corporation or association;
• A law enforcement officer “acting in an official capacity,
• A trustee in bankruptcy, executor, administrator, or receiver who has presented proof of this;
• A public official acting under judicial process or authority who has presented proof of this;
• A sheriff acting under the authority or a court’s writ of execution, or by virtue of any process issued by a court if proof has been presented;
• A manufacturing, industrial, or other commercial vender that generates regulated materials in the ordinary course of business.

Capital Scrap Metal, LLC has expanded their operations by purchasing the former Pompano Scrap Metal facility.

Pompano Beach FL.-June 15th, 2012, Deerfield Beach based Capital Scrap Metal, LLC is pleased to announce the purchase of Pompano Scrap Metal, located at 1610 N, Powerline Rd, Pompano Beach, FL
33069, The facility is approximately four miles from Capital Scrap Metals current flagship location.  The ten acre full service scrap metal facility will enable Capital Scrap Metal to expand its current market share
in the, South Florida region.

With this new acquistion, Capital Scrap Metal will now be able to process large volumes of automotive scrap (ie; junk cars), heavy equipment and unprepared steel. The site will include a Acculater high speed container loader, 90 foot Rice Lake scales, a Sierra RB 6000 logger, numerous Caterpillar and Kumatso excavators and several John Deere front end loaders, The facility will house a non-ferrous warehouse and
numerous Peterbilt roll off trucks.  The new facility will also offer state of the art identification systems as mandated by the new state of Florida scrap metal recycling laws,

The ideal location is approximately 45 minutes from the Port of Miami and only 25 minutes from Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale. This provides Capital Scrap Metal with direct access to offshore shipments and international markets, The company will continue to purchase scrap from the Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach tri-county region,
